A memory becomes a piece of art

Let me turn a memory into a staple piece in your home.

The Process

  • When you book a commission portrait, the first step is to decide on a completion date. Turnaround times may vary depending on my current waitlist; however, I always do my best to accommodate requests if there is a specific date that the portrait needs to be complete by (for example, a birthday).

  • The next step is to choose a portrait size. Refer to the “Pricing” section below for a breakdown of the sizes I offer and the associated prices.

  • Then, we will work together to choose the best reference photo to use for your portrait. I will ask you to email me several of your favourite photos and together we will decide which one will result in the best portrait and most reflects the character of your pet.

  • The final step before I get to work is to secure your booking. I require a 25% deposit before starting the project; the balance will be due when the project is complete, and prior to shipping.

  • After I’ve received your final payment, all that’s left for you to do is wait in anticipation for your custom pet portrait to arrive!

Pricing for portraits of more than one animal, or portraits including full body or background will be priced higher (this will be discussed and agreed upon by the artist and the client prior to commencement of the project).
